canned tomatoes, diced

consomme (normal size soup can)

tomato soup

carrots, peeled & diced

stalks
celery, chopped

teaspoon
dried thyme
1/2
cup
medium, uncooked barley

teaspoons
dried basil
pepper, to taste
Instructions
Brown ground beef with onion.
Add all ingredients and simmer for 2 hours

Low Sodium Alternative:
1 can consumme
1 can Healthy Start Tomato Soup
3 cups vegetable broth (low sodium)
