Au Jus (simple)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a small sauce pan of medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the beef stock, red wine, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes, until it is slightly reduced
  3. Season to taste with black pepper.
