
Shrimp Pesto Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 Pizza Crust Use what you like...Boboli, Trader Joes, Rhodes thaw-n-prep
- 1/2 jar Pesto sauce
- 1 lb shrimp Large or jumbo, uncooked, deveined, shell-on
- 2 Roma tomatoes sliced very thin...almost paper thin
- 2 cups Mozzaralla cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp Parmesan The fresher the better
- 1 tbsp Red pepper flakes
Instructions
Prep the shrimp
- Thaw. Remove the shell and tails. Cut into smaller, bite-sized, pieces...1/4 to 1/2 inches.
Make the Pizza
- Prepare the dough.
- Apply a layer of pesto. Pesto has the oils and many of the seasonings to prepare the crust.
- Add a thin layer of mozzarella. Put on the thin slices of tomato and the uncooked shrimp pieces.
- Apply another layer of mozzarella. Sprinkle with parmesan.
- Cook the pizza for 25 minutes at 375.
- Sprinkle on the red pepper flakes to taste...it adds a little zip
