Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 4 carrots sliced
  • 3 potatoes diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 package McCormick Beef Stew Mix

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, seasoned salt and pepper in a Ziploc bag. Add beef cubes and shake to coat the cubes with the flour mixture.
  • Brown meat in the olive oil. Add onions to soften.
  • Transfer to the slow cooker.
  • Mix the beef broth, wine, and Worcestershire sauce and pour over beef and onions in the cooker.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on a low setting for 10-12 hours.
