Hash Brown Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb frozen hash browns southern-style squares, not shredded
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Mix all ingredients and add to potatoes. We do this ahead of time, while the potatoes are still frozen, and then we let it thaw out in the refrigerator.
  2. Pour into a 9x13 greased pyrex pan
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour
