Banh Mi Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Pulled Pork Regular pulled pork...not BBQ-sauced pulled pork
  • 12 Hawaiian roles sliced in half
  • 1 jar Vietnamese Pickled Vegetables https://tracycooking.com/pickled-vegetables/
  • 3 tbsp Spicy Mayo Many varieties at the grocery store. We use Blue Plate spicy mayo, which can be found at Amazon.
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro - fresh and chopped
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha To taste, depending on the degree of heat you like
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Method

  1. Warm the pulled pork. It should be warm enough that it's ready-to-eat, because it won't heat up much in the oven.
  2. Spread the spicy mayo on the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls. Put the pulled pork on the buns.
  3. Melt the butter and garlic together in a pan for basting.
  4. Put the top half of the rolls on top of the meat. Use a baster to apply the butter and garlic mixture to the top of the rolls.
  5. Cook for 15 minutes at 350.
  6. Remove from the oven, and fold back that top buns. Apply some Sriracha to the meat. Then put the pickled vegies on top. Put the top of the buns on the sliders, and baste with more butter and garlic.
  7. Heat for 5-10 minutes, and then serve.
