Mashed Potatoes with Creamed Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 6-10 potatoes
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 small onion chopped fine
  • 1 egg whipped gently, (Optional)

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes in salt water.
  • Mash, adding some milk.
  • Add cream cheese and onion.
  • Add egg and whip into potato mixture.
  • Salt and pepper to taste and dot with butter.
  • Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • These potatoes can be stored in refrigerator or even frozen before baking. Great do-ahead casserole .
