Mashed Potatoes with Creamed Cheese
Ingredients
- 6-10 potatoes
- 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1 small onion chopped fine
- 1 egg whipped gently, (Optional)
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salt water.
- Mash, adding some milk.
- Add cream cheese and onion.
- Add egg and whip into potato mixture.
- Salt and pepper to taste and dot with butter.
- Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
- These potatoes can be stored in refrigerator or even frozen before baking. Great do-ahead casserole .
