Hash Brown Cheesy Potatoes

Course Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb frozen hash browns southern-style squares, not shredded
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients and add to potatoes. We do this ahead of time, while the potatoes are still frozen, and then we let it thaw out in the refrigerator.
  • Pour into a 9x13 greased pyrex pan
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour
