Chicken & Turkey Brine

Ingredients
  

  • 10 stalks celery
  • 3 bunches of green onions
  • 2 lemon
  • 2 bunches parsley
  • 10 carrots
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 4 oz black pepper corns
  • 6 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 2 cup whole sugar
  • 2 cup Kosher salt
  • 2 gallon hot water

Instructions
 

  • Dissolve sugar and salt in warm water.
  • Chop all of the ingredients into bite-size chunks.
  • Add the ingredients to the salt and sugar mixture.
  • Let sit until ready to use. Strain all of the ingredients from the brine. 1-3 days are needed to get the ingredients to permeate the brine.
  • Brine is ready to use.
