Chicken & Turkey Brine
Ingredients
- 10 stalks celery
- 3 bunches of green onions
- 2 lemon
- 2 bunches parsley
- 10 carrots
- 4 bay leaves
- 4 oz black pepper corns
- 6 cloves garlic - crushed
- 2 cup whole sugar
- 2 cup Kosher salt
- 2 gallon hot water
Instructions
- Dissolve sugar and salt in warm water.
- Chop all of the ingredients into bite-size chunks.
- Add the ingredients to the salt and sugar mixture.
- Let sit until ready to use. Strain all of the ingredients from the brine. 1-3 days are needed to get the ingredients to permeate the brine.
- Brine is ready to use.
