Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling. Heat grill to medium heat.
Lay the whole salmon, skin side facing down, on top of the cedar plank. Rub the flesh of the salmon with ginger, garlic, and black pepper. Place on the grill and cover. Grill for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and Mike’s Hot Honey. During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the soy/Mike’s Hot Honey mix over the salmon.
Make salsa by combining all ingredients in a small bowl.
Remove salmon from the grill with a large spatula. Serve with salsa.
