Pesto Biscuit Appetizer

This is a very flavorful and easy appetize that will keep people satisfied while the main course is prepared.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick 8 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons pesto
  • One 16.3-ounce can flaky biscuits
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Basil leaves to garnish, optional
  • 2 cups jarred marinara warmed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add the butter, rosemary, garlic and 2 tablespoons of the pesto to a baking sheet or aluminum pan. Place in the oven until the butter has melted, 3-7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile cut the biscuits into quarters.
  • Remove the baking sheet and add the quartered biscuits. Toss to fully coat.
  • Bake until golden, 12-20 minutes - watch carefully. The tops should be browned.
  • Remove from the oven and add the Parmesan to the pan. Toss to coat and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with the basil and serve with the warm marinara on the side.
