Pesto Biscuit Appetizer
This is a very flavorful and easy appetize that will keep people satisfied while the main course is prepared.
Ingredients
- 1 stick 8 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 tablespoons pesto
- One 16.3-ounce can flaky biscuits
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Basil leaves to garnish, optional
- 2 cups jarred marinara warmed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Add the butter, rosemary, garlic and 2 tablespoons of the pesto to a baking sheet or aluminum pan. Place in the oven until the butter has melted, 3-7 minutes.
- Meanwhile cut the biscuits into quarters.
- Remove the baking sheet and add the quartered biscuits. Toss to fully coat.
- Bake until golden, 12-20 minutes - watch carefully. The tops should be browned.
- Remove from the oven and add the Parmesan to the pan. Toss to coat and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with the basil and serve with the warm marinara on the side.
